Install Zune on Windows Server 2008 R2

Download the latest Zune software: http://www.zune.net/en-US/products/software/download/default.htm

1) Open a command prompt and launch the downloaded package with the /x option to extract it versus launch the installation.

ZUNE.exe /x

2) Specify a folder to extract to, I used C:\TEMP\ZUNE as the directory

3) Go to C:\TEMP\ZUNE\x64\PACKAGES

4) Right Click the ZUNE_X64.MSI and select Install

5) Answer the questions and it will install (I did get one error but the software works correctly even with my WP7)

Now go enjoy the Phone and or Music!
